How It Works
Want to join the Inter-Connect team? Here’s what you can expect.
Hiring Process Overview
Application
Our application is available both online and at the Quincy, Illinois office. It generally requires 15-20 minutes to complete. We recommend you answer all questions fully since application information plays a critical role in our ability to match your qualifications with our positions.
After you submit an application, your information remains active for 60 days and you are considered available for employment during this period. If you would like to remain available for our job opportunities, please renew your active status by either calling our office or completing a contact us form.
Interview
Once you are in our active candidate database, we begin working to match you with open job assignments. If you are among the most highly qualified for a position, you will be contacted for an interview. The interview process allows us to gain a deeper understanding of your qualifications and achievements.
Screening
The quality of our placements depends on accurate and complete information. At relevant points in the hiring process we will conduct prior employment checks, a criminal background check, and assessments to verify qualifications. Other investigations may be conducted depending on the requirements and nature of each position. A background check will never be performed without signed authorization, and your acceptance of a document that lists your rights under the F.C.R.A (Fair Credit Reporting Act).
It is crucial to balance the interests of all parties involved as it relates to security, privacy, confidentiality, quality and legal responsibility. Inter-Connect continually monitors the evolving requirements of law and administrative policy to ensure fairness and compliance.
Drug Testing Policy
You will be asked to take a drug test following a conditional offer of employment. This is mandatory for all positions and a positive result for illicit drugs will cause you to become ineligible.
Honesty Policy
If inaccurate information is intentionally provided at any stage of the hiring process, you will no longer be considered for any of our positions.
