Meet Our Team
Julie is the co-founder of the company and leads Inter-Connect’s core brand strategy. With over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, staffing, and recruiting industry, she is accountable for overseeing our integrated group through transformation and change. She is known for developing and maintaining customized partnerships. Prior to founding the company, she enjoyed a successful career as a corporate human resource professional in the insurance industry. With the evolution of high-impact technological change, she brings a powerful human touch to a dynamic system. She drives core strategic operations, and with her expertise in job/workplace analysis, she brings a uniquely personal perspective to each staffing and hiring project.
Julie is recognized for her extensive contributions to the community and for her contributions to workforce development. She recently ended her term as President of the local SHRM organization. She also has been invited to serve on several boards, councils, and committees including the Great River Economic Development Foundation Executive Board of Directors; the Workforce Investment of Western Illinois Executive Board of Directors; the Quincy Chamber of Commerce Board; and the John-Wood Workforce Advisory Committee to name a few examples of her contribution to the communities in which the company operates. Over the years, Julie has also been a strong supporter of historic preservation in the community.
Tim oversees legal compliance and is accountable for risk management. He concentrates on identifying problems and developing practical solutions to preserve Inter-Connect’s strong legal, ethical, and professional services reputation. Prior to joining Inter-Connect, Tim had a successful and long career as General Counsel of an international telecommunications company. Additionally, Tim served as Assistant Attorney General for the state of Illinois before opening a private practice in Springfield, IL and Chicago, IL specializing in litigation and corporate strategy. During his extensive legal and business career, Tim was accountable for a broad range of strategic, conflict resolution, and operational matters.
Tim plays an integral role in keeping our business and our client companies up-to-date and in compliance with new and emerging employment laws and regulations.
Sarah has extensive experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. Starting her career with Inter-Connect as a file clerk during high school and advancing steadily, holding every role within the company has given her complete knowledge of all aspects of the business. She now serves as Julie’s righthand person and is hands-on in the day-to-day management. Additionally, Sarah directs the company’s business services, operations, and financial management.
Sarah earned a master’s degree in Health Administration from St. Louis University and a dual Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Biochemistry/Pre-Medicine. While completing her master’s degree, she worked in strategy and operations for BJC Healthcare, Center for Clinical Excellence. An additional focus during her post-graduate studies included the field of medical staffing. Her current focus is on operational expertise and company growth/expansion.
Aaron manages the company’s internal operations and information technology systems. He also assists in branding, marketing and a wide range of other day-to-day business activities.
Aaron graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree and focused his studies on intellectual property law. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Furthermore, in addition to his present role at Inter-Connect, Aaron is an active patent attorney who has been admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Michelle plays a vital role in our day-to-day operations. Prior to joining our team, she held top HR Management positions in regulated industries and manufacturing. She applies her extensive knowledge and background in recruiting/selection, implementing human resource policies, and federal/state compliance with rules and regulations to our daily functions. Michelle is known for her hands-on approach and is recognized for outstanding customer service and achieving operational excellence. She is a valuable and respected member of our team and highly regarded by our clients and candidates.
In her role, Stephanie is a key part of supporting the personnel managers. She assists in processing all new candidate information for screening and evaluation. Her background consists of years working in the insurance and medical industry in lead roles. Additionally, Stephanie maintains the databases with the required documentation and leverages digital tools and data to assist with the recruiting of qualified candidates. Stephanie does an excellent job of streamlining and expediting our workflow while maintaining the integrity of our systems and processes.
